Bring Back My Ghost

Chris Hall This tight-knit collection of tracks is emotive, raw, and most importantly, DOPE! From the melodic flow of Bring Back My Ghost, to the old school hip-hop sound of Break (1977) and Timecrunch, to the esoteric rock ballad of It’s Gonna Be Fucked Up Tomorrow, this EP feels very personal and deserving of multiple listens.

Highly recommended!

Elizabeth Fricano This is definitely one of my favorites from Mikal kHill. It's a little bit of everything, and like always totally relatable. Check this out, and go buy it if you enjoy it as much as I do.

Christopher Greene 4 distinctly different tracks come together to form what may be the finest piece of work from Mikal kHill that I've had the pleasure of listening to. Not buying this album if you're a fan is doing yourself an injustice...and if you're not a fan, or have no idea just who kHill is, this is a perfect place to start!

Jarred Schulte A slight departure from kHill's typical Sad-Core style but a magnificent venture. Taking his trademark lyrical excellence and combining it with an awesome blend of folk-punk and hip hop to create an EP that shines bright. Still the same cynical, honest and raw kHill that fans have come to know and appreciate but with a slightly new sound added in. It's not Snuggle but it's damn good and well worth a listen or fifty. Hope to hear more tunes like this in the future. Favorite track: It's Gonna Be Fucked Up Tomorrow.

about

I wasn't sure I'd ever release another solo project of any kind after Human Disaster. I've been very inspired to write with my friends, which has resulted in collaborations I am very proud of with Sulfur, Tribe One and Dual Core, but any motivation to sit down and just write alone has eluded me for months, or at least it had until I sat down to write the title track from this EP. Now, I'm pleased to share with you my latest collection of solo tracks, all of which were written and then tracked in my nightmarish cellar.
